I just heard of this company recently. It is another of the many subscription services offered out there but unlike most beauty subscriptions, this company has quite the mission:
[…] to provide access to the best animal-free products and make kindness the standard in the luxury beauty market because we believe that animals shouldn't have to sacrifice their lives for our pursuit of beauty.
Intrigued, & given that the cost is $15 per month, of course I signed up and this is what I received in my August box.
It is a powder so you have to do the mixing yourself—add water and you have a cleanser—add honey and other natural products and you have a mask. I’m quite faithful to my cleanser so I’ll certainly be using it as a mask. I’m currently working on finishing a few other masks so I’ll have to report on my thoughts of this product at a later date. As for what I should expect when I use it is “defense against fine lines and tired, dull skin”—given it has a four and a half star rating out of five stars and a total of 179 votes I am certain it's going to work quite well.

The perfume is darling! It’s so refreshing! I’ve already finished my sample, as I actually packed it for our trip to Napa, and am fully planning on buying more—except I have 2 other full sized perfumes I’m working on at the moment, but as soon as these are done, I’ll be sure to pick this right up.

I’ve been using it since I got it. It glides on well for pencil. I often struggle with these as they seem to pull on my skin when I use them, hence my preference for gel & liquid eye liners. While this one doesn’t pull very much, I don’t think I would ever purchase this item on its own as it is a bit pricey.
Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Mica, Citric Acid, CI 77499 (Iron Oxide0]
This is lovely!!! It is described as a handmade meltable lip butter, which would explain why I’m almost done with it. While I actually think I see the product go down in size every time I use it, I don’t feel like I’ve just lathered myself with butter—I mean it’ doesn’t feel heavy on my lips like a lip-gloss would. It’s very nourishing and it smells and tastes citrusy—like tangerine.
Virgin Organic Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Avocado Butter, Tucuma Butter, Murumuru Butter, Cupuacu Butter, Candelilla Wax, Vitamin E, Tangerine Essential Oil
Honestly, I wasn’t a fan & I don’t think it was the product’s fault but rather our lovely Vegas climate’s fault because it arrived in liquid form—my guess is that it was due to the heat. When I opened it, half of it spilled over—not a fun mess to clean up. When I properly used it, it took some time to sink in, which now that I’ve read the products description makes sense because it’s for severely cracked skin.

I am in love with this subscription. I really like that it had such a nice mix of skincare and makeup; & I love the companies principles.
So, am I the only person on earth that hadn't heard of this subscription? If you have, what are your thoughts?!
